The Municipality of Norfolk Treherne is located half way between Brandon and Winnipeg on Highway #2. We have several attractions to keep you busy during your stay here no matter what the season!
If you are visiting during the summer make sure you stop by the Tourist booth located on Railway Avenue in Treherne. This is also the location of the Glass Bottle Buildings - a tourist attraction unique to our community! This attraction includes a house, church, outhouse and wishing well all made of glass bottles. Definitely a must see!
The Second Chance Car Museum is Norfolk Treherne's hidden gem holding over 100 collector vehicles and so much more! Located at the corner of Vanzile Street and Railway Avenue in Treherne.
The Treherne Museum is home to a wide variety of antique and pioneer artifacts from the area. The outside of the buildings are brightly adorned with picturesque murals displaying scenes from Treherne and area of years gone by. The buildings house a replica of the town, various collections, and First Nations artifacts. Other items on site include a fully furnished pioneer house, blacksmith shop, and antique farm machinery. It is also home to one of the largest gun collections in Western Canada.
The Pinkerton Lakes are a wildlife refuge located in the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne, just South of Treherne. This natural site portrays the area’s wildlife and bird populations.
In the winter we have it all from skating, curling, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling and bowling.
