MNT Water Main Flushing - Update April 30th, 2025
Update - We have completed Melrose, Tweed and the East side of Broadway Street in Rathwell
May 1st (Tomorrow Morning) - We will be doing the West side of Broadway, Monteith and Stanmore streets.
Flushing is estimated to take place between the hours of 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
These dates and hours may be extended if needed to complete necessary work.
The whole town may experience low pressure to no water or discolored water during the flushing period.
We strongly recommend that you DO NOT use your water service when lines are flushed in your area as rusty or discolored water from the water main may be drawn into your piping system and hot water tank.
This water may stain your laundry, plumbing fixtures, etc. or potentially block the water meter screen reducing water pressure
