Rathwell Fire Department
Fire Chief - Jason Henderson
The Rathwell Fire Department has up to 25 volunteer members. The Rathwell members along with the community host the Annual Rathwell Snowmobile Derby the first Sunday of every March to raise funds for their volunteer department to purchase new equipment, gear and for building upgrades. In 2024 the Rathwell Snowmobile Derby celebrated it's 50th anniversary of raising funds for their department.
Treherne Fire Department

The Treherne Fire Department has up to 25 volunteers.
The Tiger Hills Community Foundation hosts a gala each year in November to honour both volunteer fire departments. The departments work together to provide fire protection for the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne as well as assist neighbouring Municipalities when mutual aid is needed. The Municipality of Norfolk Treherne provides for annual operating costs and a new equipment fund.
