Situated near the Cottonwood Campground, the Treherne Aquatic Centre features several leisure amenities, including: Junior Olympic (25 m) heated pool; zero-depth beach-like entry; integrated wading pool; tot slide; lazy river and bubble bench; mushroom sprinkler, geysers & fountains; diving board; grassed lounge area with picnic tables; shade structures; water slide; AquaClimb Wall; and renovated change rooms (2018). 

Programs and services offered include: Lifesaving Society Swimming Lessons & Leadership Courses; School Swimming Lessons; Public Swim & Splash Parties; Fitness Swim - Aqua Fit Classes; Rentals (i.e. birthday parties, reunions, group wind-ups, etc.); and Tiger Sharks Swim Club.

The Delahunt Golf and Country Club is located on PTH #2, east of Treherne. The Delahunt Golf and Country Club is a beautiful 9 hole course that plays as 18 holes with alternate tee areas on each hole. Challenging, tree-lined fairways and lush greens make this 6096 yard course a must play! In addition to open golf times, the Club offers league golf for men, ladies and seniors, provides junior development opportunities, and hosts a variety of tournaments. The Golf Club is located on PTH #2, east of Treherne.

Treherne Delahunt Golf & Country Club Facebook link

Part of the Portage Youth Soccer Association, Treherne Soccer Club participants play in a spring soccer league with neighboring communities. Age groups offered from U5 to U19.

The club also welcomes those interesting in coaching or refereeing.

Public Skating is now free of charge due to the generous support of the Treherne Kinsmen Club.

The Treherne Northstars are an adult hockey club, playing in a recreational men's league throughout the winter season. The Club also coordinate and support various sport and recreation opportunities in the community (including their annual Texas Scramble Golf Tournament and Belgium Bowling Tournament).

Treherne Bowling & Billiards is operated by a community volunteer organization. The facility is open through the winter season (November - March) and  includes two lanes of five-pin bowling and three billiard tables. Join in league bowling, junior bowling, participate in weekly snooker tournaments or fun bowling tournaments offered throughout the season! Glow bowling, bingo bowling, and party rentals are also available with concession services, music and a TV viewing to add to the experience.

Taekwondo program for ages 5 to adult. Classes are mixed, with all ages and belt levels combined.  Members train at their own personal level, in an enjoyable and welcoming environment.

The Treherne Friendship Centre is a recreational drop-in Centre, providing programming for older adults, ages 55 and up. The Centre offers a variety of structured and unstructured recreation, social and cultural opportunities (i.e. cards, cribbage, shuffleboard, bingo, etc.) and hosts the local Senior Support Services' congregate meal program. The facility is also available for rent for small gatherings and functions.

Pinkerton Lake Walking Trail

Enjoy this 3.2-km loop trail located south of Treherne. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 37 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Treherne Agricultural Society

Since 1900, the Treherne Agricultural Society has strived to promote agriculture and the role it plays in the community. The Treherne Agricultural Fair, held at the end of June, showcases local agricultural products through various exhibits and shows, and provides various activities to entertain participants of all ages!

Pancake Breakfast, Treherne 4-H Beef Achievement Program, Exhibits & Trade Show with Local Vendors, Carnival Games, Petting Zoo, Face painting, Inflatable Bouncers, Jousting & Laser Tag, Musical Entertainment, Car Show and Shine, Cattle Shows, and Treherne 4-H Beef Club Steer Sale.

Treherne 4-H Beef Club

The 4-H Beef Club gives members an opportunity to: Acquire an understanding of beef cattle production and management through the experience of owning, caring for, and maintaining records on beef cattle. Develop the skills, patience and understanding of the handling practices essential in working with beef cattle. Develop an appreciation of the cattle industry and its importance in the local community, the province and the country.
